The Shema
is an affirmation of Judaism and a
declaration of faith in one God.
The obligation to recite the Shema
is separate from the obligation to
pray and a Jew is obligated to say
Shema in the morning and at night
On one side of the pendant the
Shema is written in Hebrew the
holy language of the Torah
[Bible].
God is
more here than we sense. In fact,
God, for the sake of allowing man
to have and use his free-will,
allows the world to mask His Being
so much so that human beings can
even doubt His Existence. |
